Do you have to be a Member of PSC to utilize the Media Library?
Yes. Access to our Media Library is a service only available to our Members.
Are there videos and DVD’s in the Media Library?
Yes, PSC is currently expanding the Media Library by introducing DVD’s.
How many videos/DVD’s can a member borrow at once?
A maximum of 3 videos/DVD’s may be checked out at a time.
How long can members borrow a video/DVD for?
Videos/DVD’s may be checked out for a maximum of 14 days without any fees incurred.
How much does it cost to borrow a video/DVD?
There is no cost to borrow videos/DVD’s from the media library. However, Members are responsible for paying shipping and handling, late fees, and any other fees associated with lost or damaged videos.
Current Shipping and Handling fees are:
• 1 Video = $8.00 + tax
• 2 Videos = $8.50 + tax
• 3 Videos = $9.00 + tax
Each video/DVD must be insured for $300 each or the member assumes responsibility for the full replacement cost of lost or damaged videos. Members assume full responsibility for all videos/DVD’s shipped to or picked up from the Council.
Can members pick up the videos/DVD’s at PSC?
Yes. If videos/DVD’s are picked up at PSC there is no shipping and handling fee accrued.

Are there any videos in Spanish?
Some Videos/DVD’s are available in Spanish. These items will be identified in the catalog with titles that include “SPANISH.”
What if I can’t find the video I’m looking for?

What if a member damages a video/DVD?
Repair to videos will be charged at the rate of $60 per hour with a one hour minimum. Members will be held responsible for the full replacement cost of the videos, in the event of its loss or severe damage.
Are there late fees?
Videos/DVD’s will be considered late if they are not returned within 14 days of being received. If more time is needed to view the videos, please contact us before the 14 day period to request an extension 858-621-2313x110.
Late fees will continue to accrue daily until the video(s) is/are returned (up to the maximum charge of twice the full replacement cost).
• $15 per video for the first late day (i.e., 3 late videos would cost $45)
• $3 per video for each day thereafter
Continuous failure to return videos on time may result in the revocation of member’s video services.
